QUARO–五感を呼び覚ます音響デザイン/QUARO–Acoustic Design to Awaken the Senses
2026年2月、東京原宿キャットストリートに誕生した、コーヒーとカルチャーを融合した4フロアの感覚体験スペース「QUARO（クアロ）」。「ろ過」をテーマに、都市の速度に疲れた人々が五感を呼び覚まし、自分のリズムを取り戻す……そんな空間にふさわしい音響設計とは？ QUAROのマネージャーである佐々木彩人氏、空間設計を担当したSUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICEの銭嘉玥氏、音響設計施工を担当した日本レディフュージョンの伊藤寛武氏に、コーヒーと音楽の関係性について話を聞きました。
フロアごとにコンセプトに合わせで音響システムをデザインし、K-array、Sonance、L-Acoustics、と違うメーカーのスピーカーを効果的に設置させていただきました。

Located on Cat Street in Harajuku, Tokyo, “QUARO” is a 4-floor sensory experience space fusing coffee and culture. Themed around “filtration” (filtration/RO), QUARO poses the question: What kind of acoustic design truly suits a space where people can awaken their five senses and regain their own rhythm?
We spoke with Ayato Sasaki (Manager at QUARO), Kagetsu Sen (Spatial Designer at SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE), and Hiromu Itoh (Audio Systems Designer at Nippon Rediffusion) about the relationship between coffee and music.
Each floor has different concepts, and thus we have designed the audio systems accordingly, and installed K-array, Sonance, and L-Acoustics speakers in each floor.
